Not bad for a solo traveler on a budget
The room was small but clean, just enough for a guy like me. The staff? Very friendly, helped me with directions to a few places I wanted to check out.
It wasn’t exactly affordable, but still perfectly acceptable.

Solo traveler bargain hunt
The location was superb! Just a quick walk to major sights and I left my bag safely after check-out before my journey was due.
It wasn't exactly a steal, but for what I needed, it was still okay.

The shared bathrooms were spotless, and I had a great sleep despite the street noise. The staff were super helpful with local tips, but the photos showed bigger rooms than we got.

location was awesome, close to both euston & kings cross. cozy pubs n restaurants nearby made it a fun stay. staff were super friendly n helped me a lot. the room was warm n comfy, perfect for a solo traveler. i didn't expect luxury but it was nice to have tea facilities in my room.
the bathroom could've used more attention, and the room was a bit dated with some dust on surfaces.

I stayed in a clean single room for two nights, and I really enjoyed the spacious shared bathroom that was kept spotless. The hotel had a nice lounge area where I could relax, and I even appreciated the small library for a quiet read. Though the decor could use some updating, I'd definitely come back for another stay! 😊

the location was amazin! my room was clean n the modern bathroom was really nice. it was quiet at night which helped me relax after a long day of exploring london. the tea n coffee in the room were a nice touch too! the staff were super friendly n helpful, really made my stay enjoyable.
however, the room was kinda dated n the bed was not the comfiest. also, some areas could use a bit of a refresh.

The shared bathrooms were modern and clean, which was a pleasant surprise, and the close proximity to local amenities made everything easily accessible. the cleanliness of our room left much to be desired, with dust and dirt evident throughout. Despite being a budget option, two towels for three guests felt insufficient, and the general upkeep could be improved significantly.

Staying at Albany was a real treat! The nearby Bon Vivant served the most scrumptious grilled fish, and 49 Cafe was a cozy spot for brunch with a lovely vibe. Plus, the location was just a hop, skip, and jump from Euston!
Now, on the flip side, let’s not sugarcoat it—the carpets were dirty, and the bathroom situation was a bit grim. We had a rude awakening with all the late-night noise, too!

missingWrote a review on 12 Maraccessible locationpubs nearbyeasy transportdated decor
The location offers quick access to Euston and Kings Cross stations, making travel easy. The area around is bustling with cozy pubs and various dining options for a nice evening out.
The room felt cramped with outdated decor and a distinct smell that wasn't too pleasant. Shared bathroom facilities were a bit of a hassle, particularly regarding cleanliness, and water pressure issues made showers less enjoyable. The lack of attention to detail, like dusty shelves and creaking beds, made relaxation difficult. The overall atmosphere seemed more like a cheap hostel than a decent hotel, which might not suit travelers looking for comfort.
